1Our standard
Return Gift has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Return Gift is a social media platform for the planet, made by MindNdata AInnovations Pvt. Ltd., India. Any content, account or behaviour that sexualises, exploits, grooms or endangers a child is forbidden, whoever posts it and whatever the context.
2What is not allowed
- Any image, video or text that sexualises a minor, including drawn, edited or AI-made material.
- Grooming: contacting or befriending a child with the aim of sexual abuse or exploitation, or asking a child for images or a meeting.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or any content that advertises, solicits or links to such material.
- Sharing a child's private information, or content that puts a child in danger.
3How we prevent it
- Every post is checked before anyone else can see it. Our checker, Jev, reviews each caption and every photo or video frame and refuses sexual content, nudity and anything harmful.
- No private messaging. Return Gift has no chat or direct messages between people, which removes the main route for grooming.
- Family profiles. A parent can add a child as a family profile they manage; the child has no sign-in of their own, and everything posted for the profile is checked like any other post.
- No ads or tracking. We show no advertising and do no behavioural tracking of anyone, including children.
4Reporting in the app
Every post has Report (the ... button) and every profile has Block. Our reviewer, Luna, reviews every report, and we act on reports within 24 hours. You can also write to support@returngift.org with the subject "Child safety"; these messages are handled first.
5What we do when we find it
We remove the content at once, close the account, and keep the evidence only as the law requires. We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to Indian authorities, including through the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), as required by the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. We cooperate with law enforcement requests.
6Child safety contact
Our designated child safety point of contact can speak about Return Gift's CSAM prevention practices and compliance: Adhiraj Singh, MindNdata AInnovations Pvt. Ltd., support@returngift.org.
